Annegret Raunigk is the world's oldest mother of quadruplets. This 65-year old lady from Berlin has 13 children and she is now pregnant again with quadruplets.

Here is the report from Metro:

It said the pregnancy had so far been without any major complications and that if everything went well, the babies were due in the summer and that Raunigk would be the world’s oldest mother of quadruplets.

This grandmother of 7 grandchildren was shocked to find out that she has 4 embryos in her womb when she went for the ultrasound scan.

Her gynaecologist, Kai Hertwig, mentioned on the RTL website that quadruple pregnancies would always be a strain but that everything was currently going well for Annegret. He added that the biggest risk for the quadruplets would be being born prematurely. Hertwig claimed that doctors are doing all they can to prevent that from happening.

Undaunted, Annegret did not consider it an option to reduce the number of embryos.

Below is the latest photo of Annegret from The Telegraph.
