Hollywood actress Gwyneth Paltrow and her ex-husband, Coldplay singer, Chris Martin, named their daughter Apple. After giving birth to Apple in 2004, Gwyneth said, “It sounded so sweet, and it conjures such a lovely picture for me, you know apples are so sweet and they're wholesome, and it's biblical and it's just, they're so, and I just thought it sounded so lovely.”

As reported by Mirror, a French court recently banned parents from naming their baby daughters after Nutella. They wanted their child to be popular, sweet and homely just like the chocolate-hazelnut spread. After weeks of legal hearing, they relented and accepted the judgement and named their daughter “Ella”.
