An English couple from Grimsby tattoed their legs to match their 18-month old girl's big birthmark. According to Mirror, Tanya Philips spent 4 hours on her birthday to get a tattoo of a bright red birthmark. Her husband, Adam, had spent 2 1/2 hours to get his tattoo done during Christmas last year.

Adam and Tanya had both chosen to have tattoos to match the strawberry rose birthmark that covers half of their daughter's body. This couple had considered that Honey-Rae would be made fun of at school by other kids since adults would talk among themselves and stare at her leg when she goes out in public. These caring parents do not want their daughter to feel that her birthmark is something embarrassing and thus they decided to get their tattoos done.

Mum Tanya Phillips said: “We wanted Honey-Rae to feel special, that her birthmark was something to feel proud of and not embarrassed by.”

Adam and Tanya are not afraid to be criticised by others for getting such tattoos. To them, their child is more important than anything else in the world.

Housewife Tanya said: “Most people might think it’s very extreme but to us it was the natural thing to do to ensure our daughter never felt different or alone in the world.”
